Connecting Strain Gage Sensor to a DAQ Device

The RJ45 connector provides a reliable connection for a strain gage to a measurement instrument or data acquisition system.  However, it is important to use a high quality tool to crimp the connector.  An improperly crimped connector can damage the instrument. Another way to make a very easy and simple connection between your strain gage and the DAQ is using the screw terminal adapter (STA).
