ASTM D695: Standard Test Method for Compressive Properties of Rigid Plastics
In this iNotes video, Bruno Belanger of Bcom Testing, and Darryl Peterson of VPG Micro-Measurements, complete a compression test of a composite coupon to determine material properties per ASTM D695. A unique strain gage is used, the CEA-06-062UB-350/P2, which is precabled such that the cable exits to the side of the test fixture.
